Microsoft Windows and Office support calls to get pricier
Microsoft is raising technical support call rates for its Vista operating system and Office suite. Despite claims of a streamlined interface and less bugs, the company wants prices to be in line with industry standards and has bumped up OS support calls for Vista and Windows XP from $39 to $59 per incident. Office XP and 2007 prices will go from $35 to $49.
