Microsoft Pulls Off $2 Billion Profit For Fourth Quarter
Microsoft posted a $2 billion profit for its fourth quarter and roughly $10 billion in earnings for its 2004 fiscal year. "The Redmond, Wash., software giant reported net income of $1.92 billion on revenue of $8.07 billion during its fourth quarter that ended June 30, with sales up 11 percent from the same quarter a year ago. Earnings per share came in at 18 cents, Microsoft said."
