Microsoft said to have topped brand awareness study in Japan
Brand awareness is one of the key areas PR and marketing firms are focued at. And perhaps one of the toughest areas for a US company to be recognized is the Japanese market. According to Ivan Joseph’s MSDN blog, Microsoft ranks as the number one most recognized brand in Japan, even higher than home-country favorites.
Joseph says in his blog that Microsoft’s ranking is surprising especially considering that the company beat Toyota and Sony.
The study referenced was Nikkei Research’s Corporate Brand Awareness Study.
