Microsoft makes music with Liquid Audio
A new partnership between Microsoft and Internet music firm Liquid Audio will bring more order to the chaotic online music marketplace, the companies said.
Under the deal, Liquid Audio software will include support for the Windows Media Audio format, which Microsoft hopes will become the most popular format for listening to and downloading music over the Internet.
