Microsoft is preparing a total of seven security patches for Windows and Office in is security update package for July. According to an "advance notification" posted on the firm's Security Bulletin website, the company will provide consumers four Windows and three Office updates. While details have not been released, the firm said that "critical" security issues will be addressed by the updates.
Microsoft will also release an updated version of the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, a utility that helps users to remove malware from PCs running Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003.
