Microsoft hurries antispyware, delays Exchange updates
Microsoft Corp. is getting ready to release a beta version of antispyware technology it purchased last month to the public, but it will delay promised antispam and antivirus improvements to the Exchange e-mail server.
According to a Microsoft spokeswoman, the company is on target to release a public beta of antispyware software by Jan. 16, one month after it acquired the software by purchasing Giant Software.
