Microsoft fights to keep integral Media Player
Microsoft will gain "life-and-death power" over media formats used in everything from cell-phones to computers unless EU sanctions take effect quickly, an industry lawyer argued on Friday.
The European Union’s second-highest court, the Court of First Instance, heard a second day of arguments about whether European Commission penalties levied on Microsoft in March should begin straight away.
