Microsoft Drops Office Prices a Notch
Microsoft has recently announced price cuts on its entire range of Office products, ranging from OfficeXP professional to Microsoft word. "The retail prices of Office XP Standard and Office XP Professional business productivity offerings have been trimmed by about 15 percent...the prices of the latest versions of stand-alone applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access have been slashed by 30 percent." This means that you can now expect to save anywhere between $US80-$US110 per purchase! Although the price reductions are currently only effective in the USA and Canada, they should spread globally in the near future.
