Microsoft crashes Paris PS3 launch
Microsoft didn’t take yesterday’s European launch of the PlayStation 3 lying down and sent a colossal reminder to gamers in Paris. In an attempt to woo customers to their console, Microsoft’s marketing gurus plastered the side of a riverboat with giant stickers saying "Xbox 360 (heart) you" and sailed it past people lining up for the PS3.
Of course this was captured on video and you can view the French-language at Dailymotion.com.
Sony officially launched the PlayStation 3 console in several European countries yesterday. The consoles has been available since November 2006 in the United States and Japan.
