Microsoft launches celebrity tracking website
Want to know where Eva Longoria or Anna Kournikova hang out ? Well now you can found out with Microsoft’s new website Celebfavorites.com. The site leverages the power of Windows Live Local, which is Microsoft’s answer to Google maps, and shows where eight well-known, and not so well-known, stars eat, shop and relax.
The website will run from 5 May to 30 June and include Jeff Bridges, Stacy Keibler, Anna Kournikova, Eva Longoria, Alex Rodriguez, Matt Leinart, Brittany Murphy and Brad Paisley. The stars simply told Microsoft their favorite places, which were then mapped on Windows Live Local maps.
Back in March, we published an article about the Gawker Stalker website that also tracked celebrities. Gawker went several steps further and had almost real-time updates of where the celebrities were eating and shopping.
