Micron PCs incorporate new Celeron
Micron Electronics Inc. is now offering computer systems which include the new 466MHz Intel Celeron processor.
Consumers and small businesses can purchase a Micron Millennia system starting at $999. Micron's ClientPro business customers can buy the new systems for $1399 and up.
The Micron Millenia systems with the 466MHz Celeron processor include 64MB of SDRAM, an 8.4GB ATA-33 hard drive, a 40X CD-ROM drive, an 8MB nVidia Riva 128 graphics card, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Works Suite 99 and a 3Com/US Robotics X2 V.90 winmodem.
The Micron Client systems have a 128K L2 cache, 64MB of 100MHz SDRAM, a 4.3GB ATA-33 hard drive, a 3Com 10/100 Wake-On-LAN network interface card, a 40X CD-ROM drive, a 17" 700 CX monitor, and Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0.
Purchasers of a Millenia system also receive a one-year subscription of unlimited Internet access through EarthLink. Micron's web page is located at http://www.micronpc.com .
