Micron offers 'free' PCs
Micron Electronics is offering users "free" PCs as a bonus for signing a 3-year Internet service contract.
Micron's package includes three years of Internet service, a hardware warranty, online training, software, and membership to a discount buying club.
The package costs $1,087 plus a $49 activation fee. Subscibers will receive a PC with a 400MHz Celeron processor, 32MB of RAM, a 4.3GB hard drive, a CD-ROM drive and a 15" monitor.
