A year ago, Creative Labs debuted the first MP3 player that you could plug in directly to a PC USB port. Based on a standard USB flash-memory module form factor, the device also served as a nifty portable storage unit for handy PC file transfer with headphones directly attached. In short, the MP3 player/memory module was simple, worked well and the price was right. While it did freeze up occasionally, flashing the BIOS solved the problem.
