Maxtor ships 80GB hard drives
Maxtor is shipping its 80GB hard drive to PC OEMs and distributors now. According to The Register, retail is not part of the company's strategy at the moment but that could change in the future. Certainly, the British magazine says, "specialist outlets will be able to supply it to keen consumers."
