Material costs for LCD lower than PDP in 40" panels in Q4
Material costs for 40" class LCD panels have fallen below than that for PDP (plasma display panels) of the same class in the fourth quarter of 2006, according to the latest report from Displaybank. Total material costs for 40" class LCD panels has dropped to $617 in the fourth quarter, down nearly 30% from US==$874 during the same period in 2005.
