Macworld product plans take shape
While rumors swirl over what Apple Computer will or won't announce at the MacWorld trade show in San Francisco later this week, the product plans of numerous third parties are already materializing.
Global Village will unveil a hardware/software video-capture suite for USB-equipped Macs running Mac OS 8.6 or later. Priced for budget-conscious consumers, the product will include easy-to-use editing software.
AVerMedia MicroSystems also will unveil digital devices for consumers, including capture, editing and compression tools for systems with USB and FireWire ports.
iRez Video Products will be demonstrating the Kritter SV portable video system, comprised of a full-motion analog capture card in PC Card form, and the $69 Reel-Eyes video editing system.
