Macronix's financial forecast revision bodes ill for flash testing
Taiwan-based Macronix International's recent cut in its 2002 financial forecast signals a potential turn for the worse for the flash memory packaging and test market, which had thus far been prospering, local firms said. The back-end packaging and testing industry should take heed and slow the pace of production expansion, they warn.
