MacBook Pro Takes A Bullet For The Team, Still Works

We’ve all heard of the Toughbook that took a bullet, but really if you sit back and think about it, that’s ultimately what a Toughbook should be designed to do. Think of a MacBook on the other hand and you conjure up images of artsy types sitting in cafes, drinking lattes and writing their novels.
Not so, apparently, for this MacBook Pro managed to take a bullet in Brazil, warding off nefarious types and, amazingly, it still works afterwards. I’d say you’d need to plug in a USB mouse or similar, but what the heck.

By the looks of it the round is, similar to the one that hit the Toughbook, all out of power (if it had any to begin with), and the impact was fairly well spread around the front of the MacBook - as you can see by the way everything has lifted upwards. Lucky owner, all the same... I wouldn’t like any bullet with any power at all to zing me when I’ve got a really expensive piece of kit that could do the job instead.
Sadly the images appear to have been pulled from Flickr, but that’s where they originally were to be found.
