Watch a MacBook Air Get Blown Up by Firecracker
Boom.
Going to a new computer from an old computer is a great experience. Everything is faster and just plain better. Of course, there's the issue with what to do with the old one. It can become a secondary machine, or you can sell it to let it serve someone else.
Or you can just blow it up with dynamite.
That's what these guys did after Apple announced the new MacBook Air.

What a childish waste of money that any decent charity would be thrilled to receive.
Definately a waste, a sad end to a perfectly good firecracker
the only funny thing about this vid is the ineptitude of the idiots doing it.
I would have taken it back to the shop and said it was like that when I took it out of the box, then spent the money on a proper laptop. Although they probably would not believe ma as I would struggle to come across as the sort of person who would by a spac book.

It's abviously broken to start with.
