Time ticks on for lottery winner

by - source: Tom's Hardware

Someone somewhere in England is a millionaire and they don’t even know it. Or they do know it and they don’t want it. Or they do know it and they’ve lost the slip of paper that will let them claim the 7 million quid that has their name on it. Or, like in that movie Waking Ned, they might be dead. Ok, so that’s a bit far fetched but hey, it could happen.

Last September (chances are you don’t remember because you didn’t win so why would you care ?) someone in Devon won £6,989,367 in the EuroMillions draw. The winning ticket matched 5 numbers and 1 lucky star number.

However, so far, no one has come forward to claim the cash and lotto winners don’t have forever to collect the cash. The time limit on that 7 million runs out at 1730 GMT today.

If no one comes forward the National Lottery will be forced to donate the money to its “Good Causes” fund.

You don’t need telling that it’d be a kick in the face to discover you’d won tomorrow morning so be sure to check any tickets you’ve got lying around just in case. Winning numbers were 22, 30, 34, 35, 44 ; and the Lucky Star numbers were 4 and 5.

Time is ticking folks.
