Logitech's Tiny Mouse

Some folks just can't get used to navigating their laptop with a touch pad or one of those little joystick thingies that stick out of the middle of the keyboard. If you fall into that peer group or you just have extremely small hands, Logitech just turned loose a new mouse that may just get you pointing and clicking. MouseMan Traveler is available in the U.S. at retail outlets and online for $49.95 USD. In Europe, the mouse will be available in early November for 99 DM or the local equivalent. The little rodent is made of brushed aluminum and is equipped with a new optical sensor that provides an 800 dpi resolution, a three-button design, and a scroll wheel. The MouseMan Traveler ships with a black protective carrying case and includes a three-foot USB extension for desktop use. It uses either a USB or a PS/2 interface, is compatible with Windows 95 or later and Macintosh 8.6 or later operating systems, and has a five-year limited warranty. Oddly enough, Logitech's site doesn't give either the size or the weight of the mouse, but it looks pretty small in the picture.
