Logitech's Shiny Red Holiday Mouse

It's nice to see that at least one peripheral manufacturer is getting into the spirit of the holidays. Finding a new optical mouse under your tree is great, but getting one flashy enough to hang on your yuletide pine is even better. Logitech's limited edition optical Wheel Mouse is painted a vibrant red for the holiday season and features the new 2X optical sensor for improved resolution and accuracy. The Wheel Mouse carries Logitech's popular three-button plus scroll-wheel design which is supposed to fit comfortably for both left and right-handed users. Logitech's Special Edition Optical Wheel Mouse is now available from various retailers and online for $29.95. Logitech MouseWare drivers allow for each of the buttons to be programmed to your preference, and the mouse uses provides either a USB or a PS/2 interface for Windows 95 or later users, as well as Macintosh 8.6 or later users (and we know how Mac users like pretty gadgets). The Special Edition Optical Wheel Mouse carries a five-year limited warranty. Plus, because optical mice don't have moving parts, you won't have to take it apart to clean its Xmas ball.
