Little pieces of carbon can hold gigabits of memory

The New Scientist reports that Nantero, a Boston company, is claiming its carbon nanotube tech will eventually allow devices that hold 10 gigabits of data. "The company says its technology will apply nanotubes in a random fashion over a silicon wafer and etch away the ones it doesn't want."
