Linux Makes Phone Debut
Motorola has introduced a smartphone based on Linux, making it the only major phone vendor to use the open-source operating system in a handset. The device, which combines PDA and voice functions with e-mail and Internet access, will be just one of many Linux phones in the future, Motorola said.
