Linux Kernel 2.6 Test Version Launched
A call for broad-based industry testing of next-generation Linux software has been issued by the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) and Linux creator Linus Tovalds. The test9 version of the Linux 2.6 kernel promises to be a significant improvement over previous iterations, according to the OSDL, a global consortium of Linux backers.
