Lindows releases OS for Centrino laptops
Lindows, currently under legal fire by Microsoft, announced it now has a version of the open-source operating system available for Centrino-equipped notebook computers. Though Linux on PCs has less than a 3 percent market share, Lindows continues to make small inroads on the territory now dominated by Microsoft Windows. According to the company, LindowsOS Laptop Edition will be available on preloaded mobile computers in about a month.
