LGE accelerates LCD TV plant construction plan
LG Electronics (LGE) recently announced it plans to start producing LCD TVs at its new production line in Wroclaw, Poland in September, about six months earlier than its original schedule, according to a report from the Korea Herald. The capacity from the new plant will increase to five million units in 2010, up from two million in 2006, the paper noted.
