LG Micron to expand LCD photo mask and PDP backlight module capacity
South Korea-based LG Micron, the world's leading shadow mask supplier, is investing 24.7 billion won to build a second fifth-generation (5G) LCD photo mask factory with a yearly capacity of producing 600 units of 15 to 40" LCD photo masks. The company has scheduled volume production at the factory to begin in April 2003.
