LED-based monitors shine at Computex
Chi Mei is showing a RGB LED-based 22" LCD monitor during the ongoing Computex show while Ya Hsin Industrial, despite of facing financial troubles, is also making presence at Computex 2007 by highlighting two LCD widescreen monitors using an LED backlight. Chi Mei is slated to launch its 22" LED-based monitor in the third quarter, said Ben Chen, vice president at Nexgen Mediatech, which operates the own-brand display businesses under the Chi Mei group.
