Very Good Static Quality
Very Good Static Quality

The HLQ260WR did well in our calibrator test. That's fairly good news for a reasonably-priced TV. Yet the Phocus LCD26WHS did better in this area. With this unit, we noticed a lot of inequalities in the rendering of the different shades.

| Black spot | White spot | Contrast |
|---|---|---|
| 0.6 | 220 | 366: 1 |
The black level was quite good, and the brightness was at a good level. But here too, Phocus offers better contrast at this level of brightness.
Spatial Uniformity

The lower part of the panel showed a fairly significant lighting deficit. The result was that by contrast, we saw halos of light in the lower corners of the screen, especially when the picture was dark.
