Although wholesale prices for several monitor brands have dropped to new lows in North America, most panel makers still believe panel prices will stabilize in July.
The wholesale prices of several Taiwan brands’ 17" monitors were quoted at around US$100 in North America recently, with prices for 19" models dropping to around US$130, and the system prices are now at similar levels to the respective panel prices, sources said.
