LCD monitor panel prices drop 2-4 percent in H1 December

Average selling prices (ASP) for LCD monitor are expected to drop 2-3% in the first quarter of 2006 amid falling LCD panel prices and seasonal effects, according to industry sources.
The ASP for 19" panels fell 2.4 percent to $200, while the ASP for 17" panels fell 3.6 percent to $160.
