Prices for large-size TFT LCD panels will fall this month, with the price decrease for monitor and TV applications to be the most significant, due mostly to seasonal effects, according to Henry Wang, CEO of WitsView Technology. Panel makers' profitability this quarter will be more affected by the price falls of PC-related panels, as makers have been better at reducing costs for producing LCD TV panels, Wang said.
