Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) may see its shipments of 32" LCD TV panels rise from 20,000-30,000 units last month to 70,000-80,000 this month, buoyed by orders from customers such as Samsung Electronics and Royal Philips Electronics, sources said. CPT decline to comment on the claim, saying it is now under a quiet period due to an application for an ECB (euro convertible bond) issue.
