First-tier LCD monitor makers have strong September
Benefiting from the hot season, first tier LCD monitor makers such as BenQ, Innolux and Lite-on Technology all enjoyed strong sales and shipments in September though second tier makers Amtran and Jean saw falling revenues, according to the companies.
Buoyed by increased LCD monitor shipments, BenQ’s consolidated revenues in September surged 60% sequentially to NT$14.24 billion, the company’s highest monthly total this year. BenQ also stated it expects its own-brand LCD monitor shipments to enjoy double-digit sequential growth this quarter.
