The Dancing Flower MP3 speaker
Remember the days of lava lamps, bell bottoms, singing trout and dancing flowers?
Well, the bell bottoms came back, the lava lamps never really went out of fashion and the singing fish enjoyed a brief comeback in the late 90s. So really, it was only a matter of time before the dancing flower reared its ugly head. . .
iSkins is selling a dancing flower which doubles as a speaker for your MP3 player. No doubt this feature would have prolonged our time with those singing fish. We can only be thankful that this invention will most likely fall on its face. After all, who wants to watch a mechanical (and not very realistic) flower jiggle about on the windowsill?
That said, if you’re looking at last minute gift ideas, you’re probably pretty stuck. This is an ideal gift if you just need to have a gift to give, like those office Secret Santa things. So, ideally, you should lean away from giving this gift unless you don’t care if they like it or not. In which case, the weirder/more useless, the better.
You can nab yourself one from iSkins or from the Gadget Shop. Failing that, we’re fairly sure Argos do one like it.
