LAN Party: AsylumLAN 15 : AsylumLAN 15

Is it insane, or are we just having an insanely good time?
Computer? Check! Cash? Check! Caffeine? Check!!! This combination of items can only mean one thing - a LAN Party! Every quarter, Rick Trevino and the folks at AsylumLAN get everything set for some classic LAN Party action. This was my first outing with everyone at AsylumLAN in Evansville, Indiana.
Where in the world is Evansville, Indiana? Tucked away in the southwest corner of the Hoosier state is a perfect place to hold the fifteenth running of AsylumLAN. Now the town isn't as small as you might think it is. Their regional airport has more than one gate. In fact, it has two: gates A and B.
After departing from the plane and stepping out onto the tarmac, I knew I was in for something different. I headed through the gate into the terminal to find my luggage and pick up my car. With only about twenty people on my flight into Evansville, the airport was very quiet. It was refreshing to find a lack of lines and other typical annoyances one finds at the airport. After scraping the sheet of ice off the windows of my rental car, I headed out for the hotel. I met up with Rick and some of the guys who help put on AsylumLAN at the local Buffalo Wild Wings.
