LaCie prepares to ship 1 TByte harddrive
Hillsboro (OR) - LaCie has announced that it will sonn start shipping its "Bigger Disk", an external harddrive with a capacity of a whopping 1 TByte.
If you are willing to spend $1200 on a new harddrive, you can be one of the first to brag about owning the first 1 TByte harddrive. LaCie offers the 7200 rpm external drive in a sleek metallic design and all the goodies you would expect.
Available interfaces include FireWire (400/800) and USB 1.1/2.0. The drive weighs in at 11.02 pounds and comes with FireWire, USB as well as iLink cables.
LaCie will start shipping its Bigger Drive end of April.
