Koss sells form fitting earbud stereophones
Koss is selling their new "The Plug" earphones which expand to fill your ear canal. The foam cushion is made from hydrophilic, formed urethane, which according to Koss provides a "custom fit each and every time". Frequency response is measured at 10-20,000 hertz.
A few weeks ago TG Daily reported on the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s recent study on hearing loss. The association said that loose fitting earphones, which let in more ambient noise, inadvertently causing listeners to turn up the volume and ruin their hearing. These new Koss earphones could actually help in preventing hearing loss by providing a better seal.
The new earphones are currently available for $14.99 and have a lifetime warranty.
