A major Korean TFT LCD maker expects to test produce 40" PLED (polymer organic light-emitting diode) TVs by the end of this year while another one recently purchased seventh-generation (7G) PLED equipment from Litrex, an affiliate of UK-based Cambridge Display Technology (CDT), to apply on its TFT LCD manufacturing process, according to a report from the Chinese-language Commercial Times.
