Konica Minolta Offers bizhub Printer+ For Business
An all in one printer, scanner, copier fax solution for your home office may be a convenience but in an office setting, it can save you some serious money. Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) has launched the bizhub C550, which provides all-in-one functionality for high-end office workgroups and applications that require 45 ppm color and 55 ppm black and white document production. Among its features are a Biometric Authentication Unit in which the vein patterns of a finger are scanned, encrypted and stored, and used to distinguish individuals ; a new Twin-beam Laser Printhead ; Simitri HD (High Definition) Color Polymerized Toner that offers smaller, more consistently uniform particles for clear dots and fine lines. The next-generation of bizhub MFPs uses IH (Induction Heating) that enables less energy and heat during start up and offers 98% PPH (Print Per Hour) Productivity. It also meets the new Energy Star standards, IPv6 Support, Windows Vista Support. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the bizhub C550 is $25,000.
