Kingston: More NAND flash makers to become involved in memory card production
Kingston anticipates that more NAND flash chipmakers will participate in NAND-based memory card production, and the Secure Card (SD) will become the dominant standard, according to company founder David Sun at the ongoing Computex Taipei 2006. Although most NAND players focus on memory card production, more chipmakers like Sandisk will extend their production from pure chips to memory card, Sun pointed out.
