'Killer Resume' causes little damage
While some corporate e-mail systems were infected late last week, no major outbreaks were reported from a new computer virus disguised as a job seeker's resume.
The FBI - criticized earlier this month for waiting too long before warning computer users about the Love Bug virus - last week issued an alert on the so-called Killer Resume virus, which spreads through e-mail systems using the Microsoft Outlook program as an attachment to a message with the subject line "Resume - Janet Simons."
