JoWood to bring Sam & Max Episodes to retail
Austrian-based publisher JoWood has announced that it will be publishing Season 1 of the new Sam & Max episodes, distributing them to retail for the first time. At present Sam & Max, which was recently revived after several false starts, is distributed online via GameTap.
The episodes are about three hours in length and there will be six episodes comprising Season 1 when JoWood publishes it in August. At present the episodes are being released on a monthly schedule, with the next episode due on March 29.
The Sam and Max characters originally appeared in comic books and eventually made their way into several video games.
