Jeeves Alarm Clock Wakes Sir With A Gentle Message
I have a problem. No, not that. A different sort of problem. I can’t convince myself that it would be a good idea to get out of bed in the morning, and the squawking of my alarm clock only exacerbates the situation. I hit it, fall back asleep and wake in a general panic and rush to get to work. I know you know the feeling.
A different approach is needed. So, I’m turning to the Jeeves alarm clock, voiced by Stephen Fry himself. The alarm clock wakes one with a gentle message, such as "I’m so sorry to disturb you sir, but it appears to be morning. Very inconvenient, I agree, sir. I believe it is the rotation of the earth which is to blame, sir."
There are 49 different messages, as well as a gentle relaxation exercise to get you off to sleep. "Now it’s time for sir to sleep. We go relax, do we not, we go down, counting from 10..."
If this doesn’t work then I’m afraid I’m just going to have to bite the bullet and hire a Marine DI to come in and say hello at 6am. More details on the Jeeves clock to be found here, sir.
