Japanese PDA market expected to slip
According to the Japan-based Yano Research Institute, Japan's PDA (personal digital assistant) market capacity is projected at 1.3645 million units this fiscal year (ending March 2003), down 0.6% from about 1.37 million units a year earlier. In value, shipments are expected to rise 7.2% to 35.885 billion yen.
