Japan LCD TV makers to source more panels from Taiwan
Japan-based LCD TV vendors are applying a new business model to lower their production costs by sourcing more LCD panels from Taiwan-based makers, as the flat panel TV market in Japan becomes increasingly competitive, according to JEITA (Japan Electronics & Information Technology Industries Association) president Kazuo Kaneko.
