ITRI develops glass/plastic LCD combo
The Electronics Research and Service Organization (ERSO) of the government-sponsored Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) recently announced the organization has completed the development of compound LCD technology, which can reduce the weight of LCD displays by 36% and the thickness by 35%, according to IEK.
