ITIS: Taiwan LCD industry shipments to reach NT$264 billion this year
Taiwan's LCD industry grew strongly in the first half of 2002 and the Industrial Technology Information Service (ITIS) forecasts shipments will reach NT$264 billion this year, up 129.5% from last year. The industry's large-size and small to medium-size TFT LCD shipments are expected to grow 172% and 57%, respectively, but TN/STN LCD shipments are expected to decrease 10%.
