Is Windows using Linux code?
"The Rumor" among Linux partisans is that recent improvements in Windows stability can be traced back to Microsoft Corp.'s borrowing of code from the open-source operating system. If this were true, it would apparently violate the GNU General Public License (GPL). A writer for LinuxWorld speculates that the only way that such a borrowing would be legal, if it were ever verified, would be for Microsoft to give back at least part of the Windows code to the open-source community.
